If you're visiting on a summer weeknight, head downstairs after 10:30pm for performances by some of the best local musicians.
Blue Mussel Cafe
In a town where locals pride themselves on their closeness to both land and sea, it's no surprise to find the Blue Mussel Caf?, a restaurant committed to a seasonal, fresh, and totally exquisite local seafood fare. Chef Jamie Power strives to serve meals prepared with "products harvested, caught, or raised hours from your table," and he delivers on that commitment. To top it all off, this gem, located in the North Rustico Harbour on the Gulf of St Lawrence, offers vistas you won't forget (especially since you'll be snapping photos the whole time). This off-the-beaten path restaurant is open from May to October.
Sou' West
For one of the most idyllic views on the North Shore of Prince Edward Island, take a seat at Sou' West Bar & Grill. It's a beautiful place to catch the sunset while savouring oysters freshly harvested from the inlet you're looking at. This unpretentious restaurant takes "eating local" to a whole new level.
Moth Lane Brewery
Fantastic beer and take-my-breath away vistas is what you can expect from western Prince Edward Island's first brewery, Moth Lane Brewing Co. This microbrewery was born from local fisherman Eric Wagner's love for beer and the business' location along the Conway Narrows. The beer is so deeply connected to its seaside location that you'll find hints of the sea in the Moth Lane Oyster Thief, a stout made with oyster shells.
